Biography

Ana Kazaroff makes faux marble trophies, sculptural paintings and salami architecture for installations where she explores ideas of stereotypes, authenticity and cultural mistranslations. She combines 1970s sci-fi, meat, stone and religious imagery as a way of discussing otherness, other realities, other worlds. She holds an MA in Fine Art from City & Guilds of London Art School, where she also trained in woodwork and decorative surfaces techniques. She is currently an Honorary Freeman of the Painters-Stainers’ Company.
