Carolina Aguirre
Biography
Carolina (Caro) Aguirre Barrandeguy (b. 1990, Chile) is an Argentinean-British artist based in London.
After living in Chile, South Africa, Egypt and Wales, she graduated from Central Saint Martins, and worked in the film industry before devoting herself to fine art. Though predominantly a painter, she has a multi-disciplinary approach, incorporating photography, film and installation into her practice. Carolina explores the relationship between nature and psychology within a female and immigrant experience.
She is currently in her first year of the MA Painting programme at the Royal College of Art with the support of the Ali H. Alkazzi Scholarship Award.
